Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Model Answer:
The land is one the most precious asset for any country and needs to be preserved for a better living condition of the countrymen. But unluckily my country is overpopulated and thus it needs lands for housing and industry more than lands to be left in its natural conditions. I agree with the second opinion for some specific reasons explained below.

Lands are must to make a country look beautiful and natural conditions play the most important role here. But when you will need lands for accommodating the overgrowing populations, it is impossible to use the lands for natural beautifications. In past days, the rate of population increase was at a tolerable level. Hence the necessity of lands for housing or industrialization did not appear. But with the sudden population rise, the necessity of using lands for housing and industrialization has increased rapidly.

In the present time, it is really hard to manage everything for the growing population. They need accommodations to reside, jobs to arrange for their living and many other things. So, the lands are being used to meet the growing demands. It is true that to some extent this is detrimental to the environment as the industrialization process has some detrimental impacts on the environment too. Deforestation is taking place while nature is losing its original beauty with the modernization of the society. But everything is being done for the growing population. The demands for land is on the rise.

The surrounding locality of my own area is expanding. In fact, it was a nice place about 10 years before and with the rapid urbanization, the beauty is lost. But some of the people are trying to preserve the nature but their attempts are turning to failure. The necessity of lands for habitation and industry appears more important than preserving them for natural beautification.

And this is expected that after next five years, it would be necessary to increase the land to meet the growing demands of civilization. So, there would not be the chance to preserve lands to be left for country’s natural condition. Rather, the lands would be used for meeting up the necessity of the population.
